Continuing Professional Development Opportunities
As the Australian and New Zealand Conference on Geomechanics 2023 (ANZGEO) is being hosted by the Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS), the leading Technical Society of Engineers Australia, the conference is recognised as providing a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunity for all attendees. Specific to Engineers Australia, full attendance at the Australian and New Zealand Conference on Geomechanics 2023 will represent up to 24 hrs of ‘Type II’ CPD. For other institutions, attendees should check that attendance at the Australian and New Zealand Conference on Geomechanics 2023 complies with their specific CPD requirements.
Types of CPD
Short courses, workshops, seminars and discussion groups, conferences, technical inspections and technical meetings.
Conditions
There is no limit to the maximum number of hours that you can claim over a three-year period for these activities.
Technical meetings, including Engineers Australia presentations, seminars and workshops, will normally be delivered or facilitated by recognised practitioners in the field. Workshops, seminars and discussion groups will often be in-house for employees of major engineering concerns.
